Parrot Education & Entertainment People was co-founded by Dena Owen and Merilee Hook in 1998, created for and dedicated to the following goals:

1. Educating as many people as possible on the care, behavior, and welfare of our beloved pets.

2. Promoting fellowship among bird owners, Breeders, Retailers and Zoos .

3. To provide entertaining events, open to the general public, to provide interest in and provide basic information about pet birds.

4. Helping individual bird owners resolve problems with their pet birds through collective experience, research materials and professional referrals.

5. To assist wherever and whenever possible with the preservation of exotic birds
